Terms of Service

By creating an account or using LatchDesk, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

LatchDesk provides AI-assisted property operations software, including maintenance coordination, leasing response, vendor dispatch, and tenant communication. Items requiring your judgment are surfaced in the Action Queue for review.

• Provide accurate property, unit, vendor, and tenant information.
• Inform tenants that AI assists with communication where required by law.
• Review and approve actions surfaced in your Action Queue in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate vendor lists, spending thresholds, and escalation contacts.
• Comply with Fair Housing laws and all applicable landlord-tenant regulations. LatchDesk assists with compliance but does not guarantee it.
• Do not use LatchDesk to discriminate against, harass, or retaliate against tenants or applicants.

• AI may make classification or routing errors. Your Action Queue exists to catch them.
• AI is a tool, not a replacement for property management judgment or licensed professionals.
• Emergencies require human response. LatchDesk alerts you and instructs tenants to call 911 where appropriate. It does not replace emergency services.
• AI does not provide legal, financial, tax, or medical advice.
• LatchDesk is not liable for AI classification errors that ordinary oversight on your part could have caught.

• New accounts are reviewed before full access is granted.
• LatchDesk, LLC may decline new accounts at its discretion.
• Existing accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

• Monthly or annual billing is processed via Stripe.
• You may cancel at any time. Service continues through the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.

• You own your property data, tenant data, and operational records.
• You grant LatchDesk, LLC a limited license to process that data solely to provide and improve the service.
• Upon account closure, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LatchDesk, LLC is not liable for missed maintenance, lost leasing leads, tenant disputes, or third-party vendor performance beyond a direct failure of the service.

Total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid to LatchDesk in the twelve months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
